Session Description:

The panel will examine security techniques that have been used within the software industry juxtaposed with the common practice within AI applications such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Vision Systems, and Natural Language Processing. This will include a brief walk through of the AI development process commonly used in the Jupyter Notebook and Google Colab environments. This will be contrasted with software industry best practices to illustrate threats. This aspect will also describe safety and cybersecurity threats for adaptations for areas such as healthcare and autonomous vehicles. A central focus will be to describe the broad big-picture view of the AI and cybersecurity threat landscape, as well as the challenges of building a viable workforce to address these threats.
